Tips for planning the perfect bachelorette charter!

There is no better or worse type of trip. It all comes down to personal preferences: sailboat versus motorboat, daytime versus sunset, short tour versus longer tour. Below are some recommendations that have helped others.

  • When planning, be sure to check availability on each charter page—sometimes, that can help you make a decision!
  • Most tours have some flexibility with group size. As long as you don’t exceed the capacity of the boat you chartered, it’s okay if your headcount changes slightly.
  • If you prefer a quieter experience, a sailing tour is a great choice.
  • If you’d like to swim or enjoy time on the beach, a Nauset Beachcomber tour during the warmer summer dates is recommended.
  • For an all-day experience, Nantucket day trips include shopping, restaurants, and bars on island. Groups will have their own private boat and captain for sightseeing, swimming, and touring.

  • Catering is available for all tours through the Wequassett Resort – view our menu.
  • Groups are welcome to bring food and drinks from home; however, alcohol is allowed with certain restrictions. For trip-specific food and beverage policies, see the FAQs at the bottom of each tour page.

Getting Here

Location - Down Cape operates from the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club at 2173 Route 28, Harwich, MA, 02645
Parking - Free parking is available anywhere in the resort parking lot. View Property Map
Departures - Once on the property, follow signs for Waterfront Recreation, the Main Pool, or the Outer Bar & Grille. We operate at the foot of the resort dock. Find the dock, and you can’t miss us!

Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum of 7 days notice is required for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance but more than 48 hours before departure time will be charged 50%.
  • No-shows and cancellations made 48 hrs or less before departure time will be charged full price.
