Sunset Harbor Cruise
Enjoy a 90 minute Sunset Harbor Cruise as a relaxing end to a busy day or the beginning of a night on the town! Let our experienced captains introduce you to the tranquil waters and stunning coastal views that have made Cape Cod famous!
Highlights include Chatham harbor with its stately homes and famous lighthouse, and the commercial fish pier with its colorful fishing fleet. Kids and adults alike will enjoy getting up close and personal with hundreds of seals swimming and sunning themselves on the many sandbars found throughout the bay. The cruise culminates with the sun setting and casting a beautiful glow across the bay.
This is a 1.5 hour motorboat tour, offered primarily as a private charter – for you and your group only. In the months of July and August we also offer a limited number of individually ticketed group tours for those who prefer a more social outing.

Our Vessels
Down Cape Charters uses several vessels for its Sunset Cruise tours. Private groups of 7-12 passengers will generally default to one of our 24′ Morgans (pictured above in blue). We operate two of these 12 passenger boats. This style vessel will generally be used for all scheduled Group Sunset Cruises as well.
Groups of 13-18 passengers will cruise aboard Bellamy – our 32′ inspected vessel pictured below in white (with orange rafts on top).
Groups of 1-6 may be on any available boat including our center console, Malabar.
Requests for specific boats cannot be guaranteed. The final decision will come down to boat availability, number of passengers and other business needs.
